Elbe LiveThe Port of Hamburg, live.
A live view of one of Europe’s largest ports: Hamburg drawn as an architect’s plan from its official 3D city model, with every commercial ship on the Elbe moving in real time.
I designed and built it end to end — the outline look, a control tower on my own server that listens to the ships’ radio signals, a 3D scene that streams the city piece by piece, and an interface that answers the questions a port raises: what is arriving, what is moving, how high is the water.
- Role

- Stack
- TypeScript · React · three.js · Node · Docker
- Data
- Hamburg 3D model · AIS · PEGELONLINE · DWD
01 From above: the whole port, drawn from its 3D model
02 Ships moving live, each with its wake
03 Fastest in port: one tap, and it lights up with its card
04 Arriving now: the big ship off the Dockland

Otra Mesagood food deserves another table.
Restaurants and wholesalers in Barranquilla offer the good food they didn’t sell as “house surprises”, at about a third of the price. People nearby reserve one, pay, get a QR code and pick it up. Three apps — for customers, for the businesses and for the admin — on a stack I designed, built and host myself.
Less food wasted, more life for local restaurants. A near-real product: everything works for real except the money — payments are simulated with test cards.

- React · Node/Express · Postgres · MongoDB geo · Web Push · Leaflet/OSM
- Scope
- Customer app · Business portal · Back office · API
01 Swipe through the featured surprises
02 Open the one you like
03 Reserve it
04 Pay with a test card — no real money
05 Get your QR — show it at the restaurant
06 The booking lands in the back office — live

Secure & real-timeSign-in, files and conversations — protected at every step.
Two apps on one foundation: a private file space and a real-time chat. Every sign-in is verified, every record is guarded by rules inside the database, and everything lives on my own server in Germany, under the DSGVO.
I designed and built both end to end: sign-in, database, private files with expiring links, messaging with presence and account deletion.

Practice
What I bring
A multidisciplinary practice across three connected areas: brand, product and digital experiences.
- Brand & Product
- Identity systems, licensed products, packaging and retail experiences built for real-world markets.
- Digital Product
- Interfaces and working web applications — from product thinking and design to front-end and back-end.
- Creative Direction
- Campaigns, storytelling, motion, photography and AI-supported visual production.
01Do I only design, or do I also build?
Both. My background is in design and creative direction, and I now build digital products as well — working across interface design, front-end, back-end and deployment.
02How do I turn an idea into a finished product?
Step by step, from understanding to making. I define the problem and the audience, shape the concept and the visual system, prototype early — then build, test and refine until it works in the real world, whether that is a product on a shelf or an application on a server.
03What connects such different disciplines?
Systems thinking. Whether it is a brand, a physical product, a campaign or an application, I look for consistency between concept, function, visual language and execution.
04How do I approach a new project?
I start with the problem, not the medium. The goal is to understand what needs to work, what needs to communicate and what the user should experience — then choose the right combination of design, technology and production.
05Where does AI fit into my work?
As a production and exploration tool — not a substitute for direction. I use generative tools for visual development, storytelling and creative production while keeping concept, art direction and editorial decisions human.
From concept to production.
From visual system to working product.
